In the 1st Social Entrepreneurs Meetup in Miami, we talked about the power of words and how we communicate our humanity in business and life.
More than 10 entrepreneurs from different ages left their phones at the door to discuss the importance of storytelling, our struggles with language barriers, intercultural communication and owning our voice’s power.
This is the first time I organized a gathering like this and it was quite refreshing to do something different to “network”. We basically connected as human beings.
By sharing how we can speak from the heart, we explored how our message can be easily spread to others.
Less talk sometimes is more, silence is needed at some point, and knowing when to speak and when to listen can make a difference
When do we stop being marketers of an enterprise and start talking to people as people?
