Natalia Bonilla is an award-winning journalist and documentary producer with focus on conflict, peace and gender issues in Latin America. For the past two years she worked for EFE News Agency as reporter covering the English and French-speaking Caribbean.
Currently, she works as a freelance for various publications. Her work has been published on El Pais, GFR Media and Public Radio International.
Bonilla holds a M.A. in International Relations from the University of York, a Postgraduate Diploma in Conflict and Peace Communication from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico.
She has produced two documentaries: Ecos del Exilio (2013) and Haití espera (2011).
In January 2017, she began pre-production of a third documentary project.
