Natalia A. Bonilla Berrios is an award-winning international journalist, media entrepreneur and feminine leadership mentor with more than 15 years of work experience.

She is the founder of the Womanhood & International Relations podcast and currently works as an independent media projects, thought leadership and strategic communications consultant for organizations in the human rights, peacebuilding and social entrepreneurship sectors. Some of her current and previous clients include: ImpactMapper, Observatorio de Participación Política de las Mujeres de Guanajuato, Women’s Media Center, Public Radio International, EFE News Agency, El Pais – Planeta Futuro, El Nuevo Dia, Soul Seed Gathering, Agrochic, Instituto De Machos a Hombres, Seaborne Airlines, Nonprofit Institute of Puerto Rico, among others.

Bonilla has produced three documentaries: Haiti espera (2011), Ecos del Exilio (2013) and Ser Mujer en Latinoamerica (2020). Her latest Ser mujer en Latinoamerica compiles more than 700 testimonials on Gender-Based Violence and Gendered Peace from women in 18 countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

Since 2019, she has given keynote speeches, in-person workshops and online courses on Feminist Theory in International Relations, Feminist Foreign Policy, Women’s Political Participation, Women’s Economic Empowerment and Conflict & Peace Journalism.

Her volunteer work includes mentoring with a holistic approach early-career female professionals in the Women’s Foreign Policy Group Mentorship Program (2024- present) and supporting the Women of Color Advancing Peace and Security different programs and publications.

Bonilla holds an M.A. in International Relations from the University of York, a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico and a Pg.Dp. in Conflict and Peace Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
